Iran has turned to Russia and China against US efforts to extend sanctions

Iran has called on Russia and China to resist US efforts to extend sanctions under the United Nations. 
In a televised address, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called on the other four members of the Security Council, Russia, China, Britain, and France, to stand up against US intentions.
