Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada has said his organization is committed to a historic agreement with the United States.

On the other hand, US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad said that he had met with Mullah Baradar, the head of the Taliban negotiating delegation in Qatar and that he was also committed to implementing the agreement.
In a statement, Zalmai Khalilzad said he had made it clear to the Taliban that the violence in Afghanistan must stop now.
