Saudi Arabia announces lifting of curfews and sanctions 


The Saudi government has announced the lifting of curfews and other restrictions in all cities except Mecca. 
The decision will take effect at 6 a.m. Sunday. 
All mosques in Makkah will also be opened, but the Masjid al-Haram will not be opened for public worship at this time.
The Saudi government has announced the lifting of sanctions and curfews over the Coronavirus.
According to Arab media, curfew and restrictions will remain in place in Makkah, but all restrictions will be lifted from other cities at 6 am on Sunday.
Saudi officials have appealed to citizens to comply with the SOPs, which could lead to a resumption of curfews if precautions are not taken.

All mosques in Makkah, which have been closed for three consecutive months, have also been announced to be reopened on Sunday. 
1560 public and comprehensive mosques will be reopened with Fajr prayers.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs, the process of disinfection of all mosques will be completed, signs have been put up in mosques for the social distance between worshipers, and volunteers will also be informed about security measures upon entering the mosque.
According to the statement, Umrah and Ziarat will be suspended, this decision will be reviewed from time to time, international flights will also be closed, as well as entry or exit from the country by land and sea will remain closed until further notice.
