President Recep Tayyip Erdo کېan in the Turkish parliament, with the support of his coalition partner the National Movement Party, passed a new law on Tuesday, April 7 (again 3) with a majority of 3 votes and 3 opposition votes. Tens of thousands of prisoners are to be released to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

According to this law, about 5,000 prisoners will be released from prison on a permanent basis, and so on to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Those who are temporarily entitled to the conditions of release from prison will be released under judicial control by the end of May.

Turkish Justice Minister Abdul Hamid Gul said on Monday that eight prisoners had infected Croonavirus and three had died. Also, seven of Turkey's prisons have been affected by the kronavirus.

Opposition parties and activists have criticized the law for not including prisoners, including journalists and politicians, who were imprisoned during a nine-year failed coup on terrorism. Critics also say that the release of criminals may increase crime in the community.

The International Amnesty Organization has welcomed Turkey's move to reduce the number of prisons, but said the law had prevented the release of a number of others who were released.

Melina Boyum, a member of the organization, said: "The Turkish government must behave properly and release those who have been imprisoned simply because of their peaceful views."

Turkey has named thousands of academics, lawyers, journalists, civil activists, officials and the military as supporters of Fattullah Golon. Mr Gنlen, who lives in the United States in exile, has been accused of failing in a coup in Turkey for five years, but he has denied the allegations.
