A woman in a quarantine in the Indian state of Rajasthan has been gang-raped.
India, which is one of the worst countries in the world in terms of women's safety, is no longer safe even in an epidemic like Corona.
According to Indian media, a 40-45-year-old woman was trapped in Madhopur area of Rajasthan due to a lockdown last week.
The Jaipur resident sought help from the local police station for asylum, but police temporarily detained her for one night at a government school in Corona on suspicion that there was no other quarantine center.
Meanwhile, three local youths entered the school and gang-raped the woman, but now they have been arrested and all the accused are around 20 years old.
Police say the victim has been sent to a quarantine center where she is being tested.
It should be noted that according to the National Crime Records Bureau of India, on an average, one woman is raped every 20 minutes in India.
It is believed that the number of people infected with Corona in India has exceeded 26,000, out of which 826 people have died.
