Riyadh: In the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, a healthy child was born to a woman suffering from COD 19, the child did not have the corona virus.
According to the Saudi website, this is the second case of coronavirus in Saudi Arabia that has given birth to a child. Earlier, a healthy child was born to an Afghan woman in Medina.
According to the Saudi website, the woman was diagnosed with the coronavirus at a medical complex in Riyadh and was in the last week of her pregnancy.
The woman had suffered from coronavirus a few days ago after which she was isolated. The woman was being taken care of by the medical staff.
She later gave birth at the Imam Abdul Rahman Al-Faisal Medical Complex in Riyadh. After the birth, the newborn underwent a thorough medical examination in which no coronavirus virus was found.
Medical staff say the woman is also in good health and is recovering rapidly.
It is estimated that more than 20,000 cases of the corona virus have been reported in Saudi Arabia so far, while 152 deaths have been reported so far.
