ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has paid homage to the spirit of doctors and healthcare staff who fought against Corona and said that doctors and paramedics are our roles in protecting the nation from a global epidemic like Corona.
First and foremost, meeting all the needs of doctors and healthcare staff is the top priority of the government and no effort will be spared in this regard.

He expressed these views while presiding over a high-level meeting on Tuesday to address the needs of the country's doctors and healthcare workers fighting the coronavirus.
The meeting was attended by Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Special Assistant Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant for Health Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant Dr. Shahbaz Gul, Prime Minister's Focal Person for Corona Dr. Faisal Sultan and other senior officials. ۔ Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Timur Saleem Jhagra also participated through video link.
The meeting reviewed in detail the steps being taken by the federal and provincial governments to meet the various needs of the country's doctors, paramedics, and healthcare workers fighting against Corona, including the provision of safety kits and equipment.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister paid homage to the spirit of doctors and healthcare staff who fought against Corona and said that doctors and healthcare staff were our foremost team in protecting the nation from a global epidemic like Corona.
He said the whole nation pays tribute to the Messiahs who are fighting to keep the nation safe from this epidemic.
The Prime Minister said that meeting all the needs of doctors and healthcare staff was the top priority of the government and no stone would be left unturned in this regard.
The meeting also reviewed the situation of Coronavirus and healthcare facilities in the country.
The meeting was informed that while effective testing, tracking, and quarantine strategies have yielded positive results in Corona's assessment and identification of affected people, the resource management system has provided corona-specific centers, ventilation in the country. Significant help has also been provided in ensuring efficient and efficient use of available resources for the provision of letters and other facilities.
The Prime Minister directed the provincial governments to play a proactive role in encouraging the people to implement the SOPs set up for Corona.
So that the public can take the proposed precautions to protect themselves from corona, which will not only reduce the burden on existing health facilities but also ensure effective prevention of the virus.
