WASHINGTON: Protests continue in 50 states despite sanctions following the death of black American George Floyd.

Murder cases have been registered against police officers involved in George Floyd's death.

According to the foreign news agency, protests against the killing of a black citizen are going on in 50 states of the United States, while violent demonstrations are also taking place in some cities.

 Police in several cities, including Portland, Atlanta, and New York, arrested hundreds of people using pepper spray, tear gas, and rubber bullets, while a former Missouri police officer was killed.
