Corona deaths continue worldwide, Norway announces control of virus

On the one hand, the death toll from Corona continues around the world, on the other hand, Norway has declared a global epidemic.



According to Johns Hopkins University, 1,350 more people have died in the United States in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the United States to 55,415, while the number of victims has risen to 9 since new cases emerged. It has exceeded 87,300.

The governor of New York has hinted at a partial end to the lockdown after May 15, but said the decision to reopen New York City would be made in consultation with New Jersey and Connecticut officials.

On the other hand, the US state of Hawaii has extended the lockdown till May 31.

Deaths and new cases continue to rise in Italy, Spain and France, Europe's worst-affected countries, but the number of cases and deaths is steadily declining.

In Norway, schools have reopened following the announcement of the corona virus.

Nursery schools for 6- to 10-year-olds in Oslo opened a week ago, and classes at the opening schools have grown to at least 15 students.
