Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said that recent progress in the peace process has raised people's expectations.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, the former president of the social networking website Twitter wrote that recent progress in the peace process has given people new hope, unfortunately the flames of conflict are being fueled.
He called on the parties (the Afghan government and the Taliban) to engage in dialogue, end the bloodshed and continue their every effort to establish lasting peace in their beloved country, Afghanistan.

361 Taliban prisoners released from Afghan jail, Spokesman confirms Afghanistan Security Council
It is understood that on April 13, Afghanistan forces released hundreds of Taliban prisoners from Bagram as part of the agreement, while the release of the remaining prisoners continues.
Spokeswoman Afghanistan Security Council said that the release of the Afghan Taliban prisoners will continue till now 361 prisoners have been released from Bagram jail, 1500 prisoners will be released from jail under the peace agreement.
On February 29, a historic agreement was reached between the US and the Afghanistan Taliban for peace and stability, including the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan and the release of Taliban prisoners.
