Turkey, US embassy convict sentenced to 8 years and 9 months in prison

Turkey has jailed a US embassy employee on terrorism charges, accusing him of financing a terrorist organization. The United States has condemned the decision, saying the evidence against its embassy is false. Matin Topaz has been sentenced to 8 years and 9 months in prison.
