Trump seeks China's help to win re-election: John Bolton

John Bolton, a former adviser to US President Donald Trump, has revealed that Donald Trump had sought China's help to ensure re-election victory. Earlier, President Trump made a completely different statement accusing China of trying to defeat him.

Former US National Security Adviser John Bolton has written in his book against Trump that President Trump, during a meeting with his Chinese counterpart in Japan in June last year, suddenly turned the subject to US elections.

John Bolton spoke of China's economic potential and asked President Xi to ensure that agricultural commodities, including wheat and soybeans, were purchased as much as possible.
He added that the investigation into Trump's impeachment failed to address a number of important and poignant questions. Trump also tried to block criminal investigations and interfere in law enforcement matters for political reasons, obstructing justice which was unacceptable.

Bolton said President Trump's information was that he did not know if Britain was a nuclear power and once asked if Finland was currently part of Russia. They even went so far as to expel the United States from NATO.
He also said that during a meeting with North Korea's supreme leader in 1818, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo wrote to Bolton on a slip that his mind was full of dung. A month later, Pompeo rejected President Trump's North Korea policy, saying it was unlikely to succeed.

John Bolton said Trump's colleagues copied him from behind. Trump was unwilling to listen to experts and wanted staff to fight each other.
