In India, Typhoon Narsga hit the coastal region of Raigarh in the state of Maharashtra, with strong winds and winds of 120 to 140 mph.
Strong winds blew off roofs and disrupted communications, disrupted rail and flight operations, and evacuated more than 100,000 people from coastal areas.
The coastal region of Maharashtra is receiving heavy rains along with hurricane-force winds, while an alert has been issued in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigarh, Ratnagiri, and Sindhugari districts.

Railways have rescheduled and diverted special trains while the operation at Mumbai airport has been affected and only 19 flights will be flown today.
