All mosques in Makkah will be open from Sunday

More than 1,500 mosques in Saudi Arabia's holiest Muslim city, Mecca, are being reopened on Sunday amid tight security.
Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the Saudi government closed hundreds of mosques across the country, including Makkah and Madinah, for ordinary worshipers.
The mosques in the holiest city had also been closed for three months.
The Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs said in a statement on Friday that precautionary measures would be taken to reopen mosques, including ensuring that places of worship were used only once and that worshipers were separated from each other.
Keep a safe distance.
The ministry says signs have been put up in mosques to ensure social distance during prayers. Volunteers will also brief worshipers on security measures as they enter mosques.
More than 1.5 million cases of the corona have been reported in Saudi Arabia, while the death toll from the deadly virus has risen to 1,184.
