US to blame Venezuela for disrupting oil supplies: Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif has warned that the United States will be responsible for any move to cut off oil supplies to Venezuela.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif has warned of possible US efforts to disrupt oil supplies to Venezuela.

Jawad Zarif says the US Navy's deployment in the Caribbean is intended to interfere in the delivery of Iranian oil to Venezuela, and any such move would be considered illegal and a form of looting.

The Iranian foreign minister says there are reports of four US Navy ships in a possible collision with Iranian tankers, and that the United States will be responsible for the consequences of any illegal action.

On the other hand, the US envoy to Venezuela says that Venezuela is paying Iran in gold to revive its oil sector.

It should be noted that the United States has imposed sanctions on oil exports to Iran and Venezuela.
