Karachi: Two children found dead in a car were killed

An autopsy on the bodies of two minors found dead in a car in the Manghopir area of Karachi has revealed that they were killed.

Police smashed windows and recovered the bodies of two children after an old car parked at Umar Goth bus stop near New Nazimabad in Manghopir area west of Karachi.

The bodies of four-year-old Dan Shabbir and seven-year-old Obaid Saeed were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where MLO Dr. Abid Haroon performed the autopsy.

According to Assistant Police Surgeon Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Saleem, no signs were found on the bodies as their condition was critical. However, the bones of both heads were found broken during the examination.

According to the assistant police surgeon, the two children were stabbed in the head and killed. After the autopsy, the bodies were handed over to the next of kin.

According to SHO Inspector Gul Muhammad Awan of Manghopir police station, the children had been missing since 10 am. A kidnapping case was registered on the complaint of the father of a child. Murder provisions will be added to the same case when the post-mortem report comes to light.
