KARACHI: Peso immunization in Pakistan has made great strides in the treatment of corona. Three government hospitals in Sindh have been allowed to collect plasma. Dr Tahir Shamsi had proposed to collect plasma.
According to details, the Sindh Health Department has allowed three government hospitals in the province to collect plasma and issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, plasma collection orders have been issued to Civil Hospital, Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad and NIBD. A representative of the Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority will also be involved in the plasma collection process.
It should be noted that Tahir Shamsi Plaza was ordered to be set up in case of more than 300 deaths due to Corona.
A few weeks ago, Dr. Tahir Shamsi and his team had started taking plasma for passivation immunization.
He said that it would be up to the concerned doctor to decide which corona patients should be given plasma, initially using plasma for the most critically ill patients.
He said that plasma transfusion is taking place in China, USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, our preparations are complete, at present fifty to sixty people across the country are able to give plasma, our mission is to save the life of one Pakistani.
