Saudi Arabia: Fake doctor arrested for 'treating' corona virus
Riyadh: Authorities in Saudi Arabia have arrested a fake doctor claiming to have treated Corona, a foreigner who turned a room in a residential compound into a clinic.
According to the Saudi website, the crime detection agency in Wadi Al-Dawasir Commissionerate area of Saudi Arabia has arrested the fake doctor of Corona virus.
The Interior Ministry official said the intelligence agency had received a report that a foreign worker violating residency and labor laws had become a coroner's doctor in the Al-Dawasir Valley.
The man has turned a room in a residential compound into a clinic where five of his aides are tricking his compatriots into believing he is a coronavirus doctor.
Upon receiving the information, the director of Wadi Al-Dawasir Police, Col. Fahad Al-Otaibi, formed a committee and handed over a campaign to arrest the fake doctor.
An Interior Ministry official said the foreign worker's clinic was raided as planned.
During the raid, stocks of various medicines were recovered from the clinic. Inquiries revealed that the medicines were obtained from unknown sources while a large amount of money was also recovered.
Security personnel arrested the fake foreign doctor and his five assistants and handed them over to the relevant authorities for legal action.
