The Pentagon has released videos of US fighter jet pilots aiming at unidentified objects flying in space.

The Pentagon has officially released three short videos showing "unknown aerial phenomena" (UAP) that were previously leaked by a private company.
Official videos have surfaced from the Pentagon, claiming that US Navy pilots encountered unidentified objects in space - UFOs (flying saucers).
A statement on the Department of Defense's website said the footage was being released to clear up any misconceptions among the public.
In one of the videos released, the unidentified object was seen increasing its speed so fast that it seemed impossible. While flying, the unknown object performed tricks that are not the case with any modern American aircraft.
The location of the footage made by some pilots, the scenes shown in it and their authenticity have all been the subject of debate for many years after the videos were shared online.
In 2017, David Frere, a former commander of the US Navy, said in an interview that he was confronted by an unknown flying object that had taken him by surprise.
The three videos released in 2017 and 2018, GoFast, FLIR One and Gamble, were named UAP by the US Navy.
