Almost all the Islamic countries of the world, including Saudi Arabia, are banned from offering public prayers in view of the spread of the global outbreak of covid 19.
Saudi Arabia's Minister for Islamic Affairs, Dr Abdul Latif Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Shaykh, has said that if the Korunaka is not abolished from the world, the ban on congregation prayers will remain in mosques.
'Prayer more urgent, pay tarawah at home'
Shaykh Dr Abdul Latif asked Allah to relieve covid 19 epidemic as soon as possible, saying that it is more important than prayer taraweeh in duty mosques.He said that those who attend the mosques or perform tarawah at their homes, may Allah Almighty accept the worship of people.
The Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs also proposed the establishment of a Committee on Shariah Science prevent
covid 19 pandemic and appealed to the people to believe in Allah to end the pandemic and follow the instructions given by the government.
Sheikh Dr Abdul Latif said that authorities have completely banned sharing of news on social media with evidence of misrepresenting news on social media regarding the covid 19 virus.
Talking about paying the funeral prayer during the Corona virus, the Saudi minister said that there should not be many people at the funeral, if anyone wants to attend the funeral of a person, he can read it at his house.
