India is seeing a rise in corona cases on a daily basis, where the number of patients has risen to 10,541 after 88 new cases have emerged in 24 hours, out of which 350 have died.
In view of this situation, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended lockdown till May 3, which is being declared as the longest lockdown period in the world.
Indian P/M Narendra Modi said, "We are paying a heavy price in terms of economy but saving lives of Indian people is more important.
It may be recalled that out of the 192,292 219 people infected with the Corona virus worldwide, 4252,850 have been recovered.
