India did not give up confrontation against China

Indian troops clashed with Chinese troops in the eastern Ladakh region, during which there were reports of Chinese troops being detained by China for border violations.
China has said that India violated the Line of Control in Sikkim and Ladakh, India has tried to unilaterally change the status of the disputed area.
